Tactical Scapular XL (V2.2): BLACK w/Black #67

The Tactical Scapular XL consists of two panels, permanently connected by a 300-pound Kevlar cord.  There is one panel at each end of the cord.  Near each panel, a non-magnetic clasp is affixed to the Kevlar cord, allowing the two ends to be adjoined, the panels to stack, and for the entire apparatus to be worn around the neck. 

The Tactical Scapular is constructed using 500D Cordura Black (solid color) fabric. The scapular is stitched together with high-strength mil-spec Black thread.

Each panel on the scapular is equipped with two pockets; one on the front of the panel and one on the back.  The pocket on the front of each panel is equipped with a transparent vinyl window, so the contents of the pocket are visible.  The back pocket is the same size as the front pocket, but it is more hidden and it does NOT have a window.  Each panel is approximately 2.75" wide, 4" tall, and 0.3" to 0.6" thick (unloaded versus fully loaded).  

The pockets of the XL model are designed to fit items like ID cards, credit cards, or other thin items, such as cutting cards from Mummert Knives, silver cards from North View Products, and other mementos,  trinkets, or religious items.  These kinds of items shown in the photos are for scale and reference only and are not included with this product.

Each scapular panel is equipped with elastic loops along the bottom edge, to hold small glow-sticks or chem-lights.  These small lights can be activated for emergency light in extremely dark spaces, or to be positively identified in the dark.  The elastic loops on this item are Black.

The chem-lights provided with each Tactical Scapular are green-colored and long-lasting (~3 days, with declining performance along the way).  Once used, simply remove the spent chem-light and replace with a fresh one of your choosing that is of similar size.  These small lights are generally marketed as fishing lure lights, but are widely available in many different lengths and colors.

The cord used for each Tactical Scapular is a high-strength, Black, 300-pound Kevlar.  This cord is fully adjustable to fit a wide range of body sizes and personal preference, and it can be used as an emergency friction-saw.  

The clasp for the Tactical Scapular XL is exclusively offered as non-magnetic.  This is to prevent the risk of demagnetizing cards. The non-magnetic clasp is a simple plastic friction-based design; once the two sides of the clasp are clicked together, it is as-secure as the magnetic clasp.  The non-ferrous construction of the Tactical Scapular XL makes it a good choice for sensitive areas.
